Our mission at Saving Rivers and Lakes is to protect and restore freshwater ecosystems in critical areas, including the Amazonas jungle, Nepal, and other regions where rivers and lakes ecosystems loss and degradation are threatening the health of our planet.
We are committed to meeting global goals for food, water, energy, and climate by inspiring new thinking and mobilizing impactful partnerships. Our focus is on building resilience to the challenges posed by a changing climate and increasing human pressure, through large-scale responses to protect and restore these precious ecosystems.
Our initiatives include projects of environmental education, habitat restoration, pollution reduction, and community engagement, all aimed at safeguarding and recovering rivers and lakes for a sustainable tomorrow.
