At Saving Rivers and Lakes…

We believe in supporting local rural communities in Peru to conserve

and protect freshwater habitats and ecosystems, with the goal of establishing the recovery and

sustainable use of these resources. We focus on protecting and connecting the ecosystems of

rivers and lakes to benefit the communities who depend on them. Our work also includes

programs and projects for the prevention and recovery of nature and ecosystems.

By focusing on

the management of waterways, we aim to improve people livelihoods and ensure the

sustainability of these resources. Our strategic efforts are based on three interdependent pillars:

Freshwater resource management.

Educational environment and social justice promotion.

Strengthening the rights of indigenous and local communities.
